Bishop W. Shawn McKnight joins parishioners and friends of St. Joseph parish in Edina for Mass and a reception to celebrate the 175th anniversary of the parish’s founding. Joining the bishop at the altar was: Father Colin Franklin, pastor of St. Joseph parish in Edina, St. John parish in Memphis and St. Aloysius mission in Baring; Father Paul Clark, a native of St. Joseph parish; and Monsignor David Cox, pastor of neighboring Mary Immaculate parish in Kirksville. Assisting them was Deacon Ken Berry of the Edina parish. Founded in 1844, St. Joseph parish is located in Knox County in northern Missouri. (100 photos)
