Joseph Viviano Jr., 81 — Father of Father Anthony Viviano, pastor of St. Joseph parish in Westphalia and St. Anthony of Padua parish in Folk & chaplain of Helias Catholic High School in Jefferson City — on March 10. The Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on March 14. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery in St. Louis.
Roy W. Biri, 88 — father of Sister Ethel-Marie Biri of the School Sisters of Notre Dame, who served as chancellor of the Jefferson City diocese from 1996 to 2006 — on March 13 at his home. A Memorial Mass was to be celebrated at 11 a.m. on March 23 in Our Lady of Victory Church in Sereno, Mo. with Vincentian Father Richard Wehmeyer presiding.
